Get Running in the New Year with the NHS’ Couch to 5K App
Christmas is just around the corner! And for everyone who is already planning their rehabilitation following the indulgence of the holidays, then the start of the running season in the new year may be the perfect goal.
However, if the jump from lying in a food-induced coma to running for 30 mins is a bit daunting, then the NHS’ Couch to 5K app and podcasts may be a great place to start.
It consists of a graduated program that uses a mix of walking/running to slowly introduce the body to the process of training. It also includes some great advice and is flexible to a busy lifestyle.
